This past week Les made a trip home to take care of his surly maltese pooch Jacques while the Mrs. was visiting relatives.  Before heading home on Thursday the concrete crew finished placing and finishing the entire garage, carport and house floor in 3 days.  That’s some serious area to cover for a 3 man crew and one of the guys is fairly new to concrete work!

This is how you float some concrete, young man

On Tuesday morning Les headed back to the island with his recent high school graduate grandson Aaron who will be attending university in Bellingham in the Fall.   The young man will be assisting his grandpappy, earning money for college and learning how to build a house.  It should be a great experience for both of them.
