Set in the wooded foothills of Camas’ Autumn Hills neighborhood, this expansive addition gave our clients the space and experience they’d been dreaming about. Designed in close collaboration with Sandi Erdman, the project added a vaulted great room, luxurious new primary suite, a climate-controlled wine cellar, and a covered outdoor deck designed to connect the home to its natural surroundings.
Tucked around the edges are thoughtful details like a hard-working mud room and a “secret” reading loft, a quiet retreat hidden above the main floor.

Builder’s Note
“Additions like this are about more than square footage. They’re about making the home work better for the people who live in it—and bringing more intention to the design. The original house had that familiar early ’90s plan-book feel—functional, but lacking in character. Our job was to respect the existing structure while expanding it in a way that felt more architectural, more cohesive, and more lasting. That reading loft? It would’ve been attic space. But with some planning and trust from the client—and a thoughtful design vision from Sandi Erdman—it became the favorite spot in the house. We love when design and function come together like that.”
