I ran across an infographic here that looked into what people search for when setting out to remodel their homes.  They hypothesized that many folks start out by going to Q&A sites to get information.  Their study involved analyzing 1.5 million questions on 20 different Q&A sites.  The only surprise to me is that there’s no mention of kitchens.  I would have guessed that kitchen remodeling would be right up there with bath remodeling.  Go figure.  The results seem to show projects that many folks might consider for a DIY approach.  Kitchen remodeling is a bit harder to do DIY without the skills and experience to get it done quickly (most homes only have one kitchen but 2,3 or more bathrooms).
