One of the most common questions we get early on is, “Would my project be a good fit for your company?”
At Kashas Design Build, we focus on projects where design, planning, and craftsmanship all matter. That includes custom homes, large-scale remodels, additions, and kitchens and baths that go beyond simple cosmetic updates.
We’re a boutique design/build firm, which means we take on a limited number of projects each year and stay closely involved from concept through completion. Our process is most effective when the project has enough complexity to benefit from careful coordination between design and construction.
That doesn’t mean every project has to be large or high-end. We take on smaller, well-designed projects when the scope, client, and level of detail are the right fit. Some of our most rewarding work has been kitchens, baths, or modest additions that required thoughtful design and precise execution.

What tends not to be a fit are projects focused on quick cosmetic updates, surface-only remodels, or repair work. Those jobs typically don’t need the level of planning and detail that our process provides.
The best fit for us is less about size and more about alignment – a shared understanding that good design and good building go hand in hand. Our ideal clients:
- Value design and communication.
- Appreciate that planning and process add value.
- Want a coordinated, predictable experience.
- Care about craftsmanship and long-term results.
If that sounds like you, we’re probably a good match. If you’re not sure, reach out. We’ll help determine whether your project aligns with our process—or connect you with someone who might be a better fit.
